Google will launch Android O on Monday: Here’s what changes from Android Nougat

Great news for Google Android lovers, as the latest version of the OS, is expected to be launched on Monday (August 21). Here's what's new.

Great news for Google Android lovers, as the latest version of the OS, is expected to be launched on Monday (August 21). Android O is supposed to be Android 8, and like it is with all Android updates, everyone just wants to know which dessert name Google is picking this time. The company had announced Android O in May this year at its I/O developer’s conference. It had released a beta version of the OS, but now it looks like the final public version is all set to launch. Initially, the OS will launch for Google Pixel and Nexus smartphones, and after a few days, it will launch for other devices too. There is no information on what the ‘O’ stands for, but Google had posted details about the new features of its all-new operating system.

The list above contains the most interesting new features on the Google Android O. However, Google has also introduced other smaller new features, and details about them can be found on the Android Developer’s blog.
