Taiwan singer Hebe Tien denied rumours which claimed that she liked women, at a publicity event for her new album "Insignificance" in Taiwan on Saturday.
TAIPEI: Taiwan pop trio S.H.E’s Hebe Tien denied recent rumours that she liked women, at a publicity event for her new album "Insignificance" in Taiwan on Saturday, reported Taiwan media.
“I like men!” declared Tien, who had been romantically linked to both men and women in the past.
She also stressed that she was not too bothered by the rumours, and will continue to make friends with anyone whom she clicks with, “regardless of their gender or sexual orientation”.
The 30-year-old singer went on to add that she isn't looking forward to marriage, despite being the only unmarried member of S.H.E.
“Marriage is meaningless. I don’t feel that marriage is the end point of a romantic relationship,” said Tien, though she admitted that she hoped to experience motherhood one day.
“Of course, it is great if you give birth to your own children, but if you are old and can’t, it's okay to consider adoption.”
“I’d be the kind mother and tell the children to remember to do their homework, and then force my husband to be the bad guy,” said Tien.
