Britney Spears wants fans to donate to a children's hospital for her birthday.
The pop star turns 32 on December 2 and took to Twitter Saturday to share with fans how they can make her greatest wish come true by giving to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
"My birthday wish this year is for you to support @StJude kids. Here's how you can help. #Britney4StJude," she wrote with a link to a web page where fans can donate.
The site includes several pictures of children who need medical care. It also includes a note from the star, further explaining how the generosity of others can help sick patients.
"Dear Fans, It's that time of year again when we pause to reflect upon what we're thankful for. I'm thankful to have the most amazing fans in the world who have been there for me through everything!" Britney wrote.
"December is a busy month for me. My new album, Britney Jean, drops on 12/3. My Las Vegas show, Britney: Piece of Me, kicks off 12/27 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. And, on 12/2 it's my birthday! This year, I'm doing something different for my birthday. I'm dedicating it to the kids of St. Jude. Help me out by not buying me a gift this year. Buy them a gift instead - the gift of another birthday."
Britney championed the good work of officials at the hospital, and Ryan Seacrest also chimed in to thank the star for her charitable work.
The TV star was smiling after receiving a photo of Britney with a child during an event for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.
"Just got this in my inbox...christine and @britneyspears at @RyanFoundation today :)," he shared.
